Petrosetco Distribution becomes Advantech Distributor in Vietnam

Petrosetco Distribution Company (PSD), a member unit of PetroVietnam General Services Joint Stock Corporation (PETROSETCO), signed a cooperation agreement with Advantech Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. (Advantech VN), becoming the official certified distributor of Advantech in Vietnam.

The event marks an important development step in the strategy of expanding the technology ecosystem of Petrosetco Distribution (PSD), and opens a period of comprehensive cooperation between two leading enterprises in the field of distributing technology equipment and industrial IoT solutions.

Mr. Do Duc Hau, General Director of Advantech Vietnam, emphasized: “Advantech assesses that the Vietnamese market has a lot of potential and a high growth rate, especially in the fields of technology, digital transformation, and AI. Therefore, we choose PS, a professional distributor of technology products, with more than 20 years of experience and a wide network - to bring customers quality products with the best service. This cooperation also affirms Advantech's long-term commitment in Vietnam.”

Under the cooperation agreement, Petrosetco Distribution will take on the role of official distributor of Advantech's products, equipment and technology solutions, including industrial IoT platforms, automation equipment, edge computing and AI integrated solutions in manufacturing, services and smart infrastructure.

On the side of Petrosetco Distribution, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Head of IT Business Department, shared: “The cooperation with Advantech marks a strategic shift of PSD to promote the provision of high-quality, advanced industrial IoT products and solutions to Vietnamese enterprises, and is also a strategic step to exploit the potential of the booming IoT market, contributing to the transformation of the country in the digital age”.

In Vietnam, Advantech Vietnam plays a central regional role in technology transfer and local partner ecosystem development, aiming to promote national digital transformation and build a sustainable smart industry.
