Interestingly, amidst the bustling Halloween atmosphere, many shops on Hang Ma Street have begun to clean up and rearrange their stalls to prepare for Christmas - one of the busiest festivals at the end of the year. Behind the rows of spooky masks, people have seen glimpses of Santa Claus light boxes, reindeer, pine trees and glittering tinsel being brought out from the warehouse.

Some stores cleverly combine decorations for both seasons at the same time, one side is a space full of Halloween, the other side has begun to appear warm Christmas lights. This makes Hang Ma even more special, like a unique seasonal transition between horror and warmth, between the "mysterious" autumn and the approaching cold winter.
