15 schools in Nam Phu commune spread the spirit of "mutual love and support"

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, promoting the tradition of "Helping each other", 15 public schools in Nam Phu commune launched the movement "Joining hands towards flood areas - For beloved Northern students".

After the circulation of storms No. 10 and No. 11, prolonged heavy rains caused landslides and serious flooding, causing great damage to people and property, including many schools being damaged, books and teaching equipment being swept away, making the lives of teachers and students extremely difficult.

In just a short time, the movement “Joining hands towards the flood areas - For the beloved Northern students” has received positive responses from all cadres, teachers, staff, parents and students. Hundreds of gift boxes including books, clothes, school supplies, and necessities have been carefully packaged, labeled and transported by charity buses to schools and localities in the storm and flood areas.

Teacher Dang Thi Thao, Principal of Van Phuc Secondary School, shared: "Although the gifts are small, they contain the feelings and hearts of teachers and students sent to the students in the flood-affected areas. We believe that this sharing will help the students to be more steadfast, continue to study and nurture their dreams."

Not only stopping at material activities, schools also incorporate propaganda and education for students about compassion, sharing spirit and social responsibility, helping them understand more deeply the value of love in life.
