Tay Tu Ward launched "Green Sunday"

HNP - On October 12, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, political and social organizations of Tay Tuu ward launched "Green Sunday" to celebrate the success of the Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations of Tay Tuu ward for the 2025-2030 term; celebrate the 69th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union's traditional day (October 15); and the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20).

Launching at the launching ceremony, Chairwoman of the Tay Tuu Ward Fatherland Front Committee Chu Thi Thu Ha emphasized that "Green Sunday" is a meaningful activity to raise awareness and actions of cadres, party members and people in environmental protection, preserving green, clean and beautiful urban landscape. This is also an opportunity to promote the role of the community in joining hands to build a civilized and clean locality, contributing to the successful implementation of civilized urban criteria, building a cultural lifestyle in the area.

At the same time, officials and people classify waste at source, reduce the use of plastic bags and disposable plastic products; care for and protect trees, plant flowers, create green, clean and beautiful landscapes in residential areas, workplaces and residential areas; propagate and mobilize relatives and friends to participate in maintaining public hygiene, raising awareness of protecting the living environment.

Responding to the call of the Ward Fatherland Front Committee, nearly 200 cadres, youth union members, women's union members and veterans of Tay Tuu Ward, in coordination with cadres and soldiers of Company 66, Brigade 86, Chemical Corps, Ministry of National Defense , simultaneously participated in the "Green Sunday" activity.

With the spirit of volunteering for the community, the forces organized a general environmental cleaning at 13 schools and streets in the ward; at the same time, disinfected 3 primary schools: Minh Khai A, Tay Tuu B and Minh Khai B, contributing to ensuring a safe and clean learning environment for students.

In the coming time, Tay Tuu Ward Youth Union will continue to promote its pioneering role, maintain regular sanitation activities; promote waste classification at source, plant trees, build model roads, contributing to building Tay Tuu Ward greener, cleaner and more livable.
