Cha Mun Festival is a unique folk belief of the Black Thai people, expressing gratitude to ancestors, showing gratitude to those who built villages and Muongs, and praying for a prosperous life and bountiful harvests. Through many generations, this ritual has been maintained by the community, becoming a spiritual support and a unique cultural feature of the Muong Deng region.
Being listed in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List is a worthy recognition of the efforts to preserve, transmit and practice rituals of the Thai community in Yen Thang. This is also a source of encouragement for the locality to continue to combine cultural preservation with community tourism development and new rural construction.

Currently, Thanh Hoa has 28 intangible cultural heritages recognized at the national level, reflecting the richness and diversity in the spiritual life of ethnic groups. In particular, the Cha Mun Festival not only has cultural value but also contributes to promoting tourism activities, creating livelihoods and increasing the attractiveness of the Yen Thang highlands.
After the ceremony, many people and tourists immersed themselves in the bustling atmosphere of the highland market, participating in folk games, cultural and sports activities within the framework of Muong Deng cultural week, a place to gather, honor and spread the cultural identity of the Thai people in the heart of Thanh Hoa.
