Da Nang trains in the use of artificial intelligence in administrative management and business administration

On July 31, the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang city organized a training conference on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in state management and corporate governance.

The conference was held in person and online; including two contents: application of artificial intelligence in state management and application of artificial intelligence in production and business activities in enterprises.

The conference aims to guide the application of artificial intelligence in public service management, effectively serving the city's digital transformation; at the same time, better understand the importance of practice in work management in current new task requirements, thereby helping to optimize time and work efficiency, encourage creativity to contribute to improving labor efficiency.

Speaking at the training session, Mr. Ho Quang Buu - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City affirmed that AI has become a powerful tool, bringing breakthroughs and improving the efficiency of the state administrative apparatus in administrative management. Organizing this training course is part of the city's long-term strategy to equip the necessary knowledge and skills about AI for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. Through the training course, the trainees are equipped with basic knowledge about AI, better understand practical applications, and grasp important principles of information security and compliance with regulations when deploying AI in daily work.

Overview of AI training class in Da Nang

Within the framework of the morning training class, the trainees were shared by Ms. Laura Nguyen - Director of GenAI Fund Investment Fund about basic contents including: overview of AI and application trends in the public sector; application of AI in daily work (using virtual assistants, AI tools to draft, synthesize reports, manage work, analyze data for decision making); information security, data safety and how to apply AI from specific work needs to improve work efficiency...

In the afternoon of the same day, the second training course for businesses focused on applying AI in business operations and development. Ms. Laura Nguyen shared about the potential of applying AI in optimizing costs, improving product quality, improving customer service, analyzing the market and supporting strategic decision making. In addition, detailed instructions were also given on risk management, data security, as well as how to build an AI application roadmap suitable for the scale and resources of the business.

Through the conference, students were able to access new, highly applicable knowledge, helping to improve the necessary AI skills in work as well as in production and business activities. This is a concrete step demonstrating Da Nang's determination to promote synchronous digital transformation between the public and private sectors, towards building a smart, modern and creative city.
