Central Youth Union visited and supported 1.2 billion VND to people in flood-hit areas in Ha Tinh

On the morning of October 12, a working delegation of the Central Youth Union Secretariat and the Central Council of Young Pioneers, led by comrade Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Youth Union and Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers, visited, presented gifts, and encouraged people and children in areas heavily affected by storm No. 10 in Ha Tinh province.

The working delegation visited, encouraged and gave gifts to Nguyen Thao Uyen (residing in Vinh Thinh village, Thach Lac commune) who is in difficult circumstances and had her house's roof blown off in storm No. 10.

The total support resources worth 1.2 billion VND were presented by the Central Youth Union and the Central Council of Young Pioneers to the people and children affected by storm No. 10 in Ha Tinh province, including cash, necessities, equipment, school supplies, essential household items; and funding to repair and re-roof houses for 15 families of children who suffered heavy damage in the storm.

These are practical gifts, contributing to helping people and children in affected areas have more stable conditions for living, working and studying.

The working delegation visited, encouraged, and gave gifts to families of students who suffered heavy losses due to storm No. 10 in Ha Tinh province.

On this occasion, the working delegation directly visited, encouraged, and gave gifts to support 4 children in especially difficult circumstances in Thach Lac and Dong Tien communes (Ha Tinh province), these are localities that suffered heavy damage in the recent storm.

At each family, the delegation visited the damage situation, shared difficulties and encouraged the children and their relatives to make efforts to overcome the damage caused by the storm and soon stabilize their lives.

The activity demonstrates the spirit of sharing, responsibility and affection of the Central Youth Union, the Central Council of Young Pioneers and the youth of the whole country towards the people of the Central region in general and Ha Tinh province in particular, contributing to helping people and children soon overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and restore production and daily activities after the storm.
