Mr. Nguyen Doan Anh re-elected as Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee

(Dan Tri) - Mr. Nguyen Doan Anh continued to be elected by the Executive Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, term XX, to hold the position of Provincial Party Secretary, term 2025-2030, with 100% of the votes.

On the afternoon of October 15, the 20th Congress of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, announced the results of the first session of the 20th Provincial Party Executive Committee.

Accordingly, with a high sense of responsibility, the first meeting of the 20th Provincial Party Executive Committee elected the Provincial Party Standing Committee consisting of 15 members and elected the positions of: Provincial Party Secretary, Deputy Provincial Party Secretary, Provincial Party Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Doan Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the 19th Provincial Party Committee, continued to be elected to hold the position of Secretary of the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, with 100% of the votes.

Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh, Mr. Nguyen Hong Phong, Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh - Deputy Secretaries of the 19th Provincial Party Committee - continued to be elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretaries of the 20th Provincial Party Committee.

The Provincial Party Executive Committee also elected a 10-member Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee. Of which, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, member of the Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the 19th Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee, was re-elected as Chairwoman of the 20th Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee, with 100% of the votes.

Mr. Nguyen Doan Anh (born in 1967), hometown in An Thuong commune, Hoai Duc district (old), Hanoi city; high level of political theory; professional qualifications: University degree in Command and Staff of the Combined Arms, Senior degree in Military.

Mr. Nguyen Doan Anh has held the following positions: Commander of the Capital Command; Commander of Military Region 4.

On January 30, 2021, at the 13th National Congress of the Party, Mr. Nguyen Doan Anh was elected as a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, term 2021-2026.

In November 2022, he held the position of Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

On the afternoon of October 20, General Secretary and President To Lam presented the decision to promote Nguyen Doan Anh from Lieutenant General to Senior Lieutenant General.

On October 25, 2024, the Politburo assigned Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Doan Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
