Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on his re-election as Prime Minister of Australia in the country's federal election.

On the occasion of Australia's successful organization of the 48th Federal Parliamentary election and the re-election of Mr. Anthony Albanese as Prime Minister of Australia, on May 4, 2025, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

Immediately after the primary election results showed that the Labor Party of incumbent Prime Minister Anthony Albanese won the majority of seats in the House of Representatives to be able to form a government , Prime Minister Albanese gave a victory speech.

In his speech, Mr Albanese said it was “the greatest honour of my life” to have served the Australian people as prime minister.

He thanked all Australians, saying the people of this Oceania nation had chosen optimism and determination in a time of global uncertainty, working together to build the future by electing a majority Labor government.

Prime Minister Albanese said that now is the time for Australians to unite, develop their full potential, and together build national unity based on a long-term foundation of fairness, equality and mutual respect to serve the country's values./.
