The poetic beauty of the "roof " of Western Gia Lai.
At an altitude of 1,472 meters, conquering Mount Chu Nam is something most mountaineers aspire to do, as it is not only a journey that challenges endurance and willpower, but also an opportunity to immerse oneself in a dreamy natural landscape where white clouds swirl around the mountain peak and green forests stretch endlessly.
To reach Chu Nam, from Tan Son irrigation lake, visitors can follow a small trail along the mountainside, crossing lush green meadows amidst fresh and cool air. Along the way, visitors also have the opportunity to explore the incredibly rich and diverse ecosystem of flora and fauna, home to many rare species characteristic of the Central Highlands' mountainous forests.

Wild orchids bloom among the trees, birdsong echoes in the vast sky, and the scent of damp earth and wildflowers mingles with the wind, creating an unusually pristine and pure atmosphere. Every step on the path leading to the summit of Chu Nam Mountain is not only a journey of conquering nature, but also a journey to find peace of mind.

As you approach the summit, the clouds seem to descend, and a gentle mist embraces each step, giving visitors the feeling of stepping into a heavenly paradise. And upon reaching the summit of Chu Nam Mountain, the breathtaking scenery that unfolds before your eyes will make all the fatigue of the long journey gradually disappear.
From the mountaintop, one can see the bustling and vibrant city of Pleiku, and further in the distance, the Yaly hydroelectric power plant, the majestic Ham Rong mountain, and even a part of Quang Ngai province faintly visible through the mist.
The entire plain below unfolds like a vibrant painting, with endless fields of deep green sweet potatoes, stretches of orange wildflowers interspersed with dreamy patches of faded pink and red reeds, and villages and hamlets hidden in the early morning mist—all creating an irresistible allure for anyone who loves exploration and longs to reach the "roof" of Western Gia Lai.

The development of Chu Nam is closely linked to tourism.
In recent years, Chu Nam has become one of the most attractive trekking destinations on the tourism map of Gia Lai province, welcoming thousands of visitors annually. The increasing number of people seeking to conquer the summit of Chu Nam has contributed to promoting the majestic and poetic natural beauty of this region, while also opening up new avenues for local tourism development.
Hiking trips, overnight camping, or cloud hunting on mountaintops have become popular experiences for young people and nature lovers alike.
In addition, the local government and people are working together to preserve the landscape, conserve the natural ecosystem, and develop community-based tourism.

From the Jrai villages near the foot of the mountain, visitors can experience the unique local culture, enjoy authentic cuisine, and fully appreciate the warmth and hospitality of the people. Therefore, Chu Nam is not only a destination for adventurous travelers and nature lovers, but also a place to rediscover the pristine values and authentic beauty of the Central Highlands mountains and forests.
According to Nguyen Huu Que, Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, Chu Nam has great potential to be developed into a tourist destination combining nature exploration, health training, and enjoying the poetic and majestic beauty of the Central Highlands mountains and forests.

“In the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will assign relevant departments and agencies to coordinate with Bien Ho commune and the Protective Forest Management Board to organize tourist tours and enriching experiences, aiming to develop Chu Nam into an attractive destination for tourists from within and outside the province as well as international friends.”
"In parallel, the province will also call for socialized investment to build check-in points and rest areas for tourists on the mountaintop, ensuring that tourists have the safest, most convenient, and most fulfilling experiences," the Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee shared.
