Wild orchid bushes blooming among the treetops, birdsong echoing in the vast air, the smell of moist soil and wild grass mixed with the wind create a pristine, strangely pure space. Every step on the path leading to the top of Chu Nam mountain is not only a journey to conquer nature, but also a journey to find peace of mind.

And when you set foot on the top of Chu Nam mountain, the scene that opens before your eyes will make all the fatigue of the long journey gradually disappear.
From the top of the mountain, you can see the bustling and bustling Pleiku mountain town, further away is the Yaly hydroelectric plant, the majestic Ham Rong mountain and a part of Quang Ngai province looming in the mist.
The entire plain below appears like a vivid picture with deep green sweet potato fields, orange-colored galangal flowers stretching out interwoven with romantic patches of pink-red reed grass, fields and villages hidden in the morning mist, all creating an irresistible attraction for anyone who loves to explore and desires to reach the "roof" of Tay Gia Lai.

Developing Chu Nam associated with tourism
In recent years, Chu Nam has become one of the most attractive trekking destinations on the tourist map of Gia Lai province, welcoming thousands of visitors each year. The increasing number of people coming to conquer Chu Nam peak has contributed to promoting the majestic and poetic natural beauty of this land, while opening up a new direction for local tourism development.
Hiking, overnight camping or cloud hunting on mountain tops have become experiences chosen and sought after by young people and nature lovers.
Besides, the local government and people are also joining hands to preserve the landscape, conserve the natural ecosystem, and develop community tourism.

From the Jrai villages near the foot of the mountain, visitors can experience the unique indigenous culture, enjoy rustic cuisine and fully feel the warmth and hospitality of the people. Thanks to that, Chu Nam is not only a destination for those who love to explore and those who love nature, but also a place to find the pristine values with the authentic beauty of the Central Highlands mountains and forests.
According to Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que, Chu Nam is a place with great potential to build and develop into a tourist tour combining nature exploration, health training, and enjoying the poetic and majestic beauty of the Central Highlands mountains and forests.

“In the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will assign the Departments and branches to coordinate with Bien Ho commune and the Forest Protection Management Board to organize tours and useful experiences, aiming to develop Chu Nam into an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists as well as international friends.
At the same time, the province will also call for socialized investment to build check-in points and resting places for tourists on the mountain top, ensuring to bring tourists the safest, most convenient and complete experiences," the Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee shared.
