In the first 9 months of the year, Gia Lai ranked 3rd in the region in terms of GRDP growth.

The information was given at the conference to review the work of the first 9 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 3 months of 2025, recently organized by the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.

The report of the Office of the Party Committee of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee said that in the first 9 months of the year, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, especially the process of merging and perfecting the organizational apparatus, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee clearly demonstrated its comprehensive, timely and effective leadership and direction. Party committees, authorities and organizations at all levels have closely followed the resolutions and directives of the Central and Provincial Party Committees, promoted the spirit of solidarity, made efforts to overcome difficulties and completed many important tasks.

Accordingly, the socio -economic situation continues to maintain stability and develop in many areas. GRDP growth in the third quarter is estimated to increase by 6.88% over the same period (ranked 26/34 nationwide and ranked 5/6 in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands). In the first 9 months of the year, GRDP is estimated to increase by 7.31% over the same period (ranked 23/34 nationwide and ranked 3/6 in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands)...

The Industrial Production Index (IIP) in the first 9 months of the year increased by 9.51% over the same period. The whole province has 80 projects in operation (reaching 80% of the yearly plan) with a total capital of 10,281 billion VND; of which there are 8 key projects with a total capital of 8,955 billion VND. Compared to the same period in 2024, there were an increase of 36 projects and 5,934 billion VND in investment capital. Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in the first 9 months of the year are estimated at 149,012 billion VND, up 12.5% over the same period. Total budget revenue in the first 9 months of the year is estimated at 20,244 billion VND, reaching 81.1% of the estimate.

The report of the Provincial Party Committee Office also said that the fields of public investment, investment attraction, and infrastructure construction have seen positive changes. Administrative reform, digital transformation, and improvement of the investment and business environment have been implemented drastically and synchronously; national defense and security have been maintained, and social order and safety have been ensured...

Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan noted that the last 3 months of the year are the final stage, of special importance to comprehensively complete the targets and tasks of 2025, creating a solid foundation for the entire term. All levels and sectors need to concentrate, act urgently, resolutely and effectively; make the most of the remaining time to speed up construction progress, promote disbursement of public investment capital, complete socio-economic targets; and at the same time, prepare well for 2026.

“In the coming time, we need to focus on concretizing and organizing the implementation of the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress. This is a continuous and top priority task to soon put the Resolution into practice, creating synchronous changes in all areas,” Mr. Pham Anh Tuan emphasized.

At the same time, we will concentrate maximum resources, time and political determination to comprehensively complete the goals and targets of the first year after the merger. In particular, we will focus on disbursing public investment capital and capital for national target programs to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Central Government; proactively review and completely remove obstacles in investment procedures, land, and site clearance; prioritize accelerating the progress of key projects and works. Promote the application of information technology in the implementation of public administration. In addition, we will pay attention to and focus on social security, job stability, and income improvement, especially in ethnic minority areas, remote areas, etc.

“It is necessary to promptly complete the organization and personnel after the merger. Timely arrange the party organization, apparatus and personnel of agencies and units, ensuring stable and smooth operations. Improve the quality of Party cell and Party committee activities associated with innovating leadership and management methods; strengthen discipline, order and exemplary responsibility of leaders…” - The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted and requested agencies and units to promote the sense of responsibility; promote proactiveness and creativity in leadership, direction and implementation. At the same time, closely follow the direction of the Central and Provincial Party Committees, promptly advise the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee in leading and operating assigned tasks.
