The Dam Doi - Cai Nuoc - Cha La Victory Monument is one of the projects to welcome the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
Throughout the history of revolutionary struggle, the army and people of Ca Mau have written many glorious pages of history, contributing greatly to the struggle for national liberation and unification; in which, the Victory of Dam Doi - Cai Nuoc - Cha La is a brilliant milestone, demonstrating the brave fighting spirit, indomitable will and infinite loyalty to the Party and the Fatherland of the army and people of Ca Mau.
To preserve and promote the significance of historical events, and pay tribute to the great feats of arms of Military Region 9 and the army and people of Ca Mau province in the resistance war against the US to save the country, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the investment policy for the Dam Doi - Cai Nuoc - Cha La Victory Monument project. The project started construction on November 19, 2024, with a budget of over 106 billion VND.
After nearly 01 year of construction, the completed items include: Memorial stele house, exhibition area, ceremony yard, administrative area, green tree system, internal roads and auxiliary works. The project is designed with tradition combined with modernity, in harmony with the landscape and historical value.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang acknowledged and commended the investor, construction unit, departments, local authorities, and local people for their close coordination to complete the project ahead of schedule.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang emphasized: After the inauguration ceremony, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will coordinate with the People's Committee of Tran Phan commune to manage and effectively use the project; regularly organize activities on resources, research, study, and sightseeing; at the same time, continue to collect more artifacts, records, and historical documents, ensuring a rich source of documents to serve the people's need to learn about history.

On this occasion, the provincial leaders presented gifts to historical witnesses and families of those who contributed to the Dam Doi - Cai Nuoc - Cha La Victory; the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented Certificates of Merit to 01 collective and 02 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Dam Doi - Cai Nuoc - Cha La Victory Relic Project.
