Omar Abou-Ezzeddine, Regional Director for the Middle East and Africa at Tensor Auto, stated that the Tensor Robocar is the world's first Level 4 autonomous personal vehicle, marking a significant milestone in the field of smart cars and future transportation. He clarified: “The vehicle offers users the experience of owning a driverless vehicle, ensuring superior safety, maximum privacy, and advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.”

According to Mr. Abou-Ezzeddine, the Tensor Robocar is the first model developed in Silicon Valley and launched in the UAE. With Level 4 autonomous driving capabilities, the car requires absolutely no driver or license – users simply give commands to have the car take their children to school or transport them to work, while the car automatically drives, parks, and charges at home.

Unlike traditional vehicles "upgraded" with smart technology, the Tensor Robocar was designed from the ground up to be an autonomous vehicle, achieving an optimal balance between performance and technology, making it one of the world's most advanced AI-powered vehicles. The car is equipped with five Lidar sensors positioned around its body – including the top, front, and rear – along with over 100 other sensors and cameras to accurately identify its surroundings. Thanks to this technology, the car can determine distance, speed, and surrounding objects, allowing for safe navigation in parking lots and urban areas without human intervention.

Mr. Abou-Ezzeddine stated that the vehicle's data processing capabilities are superior, with 8,000 compute units, four times higher than conventional smart cars, enabling real-time analysis and decision-making. He emphasized: “Tensor Robocar is not just a means of transportation, but a comprehensive integrated AI system capable of learning user behavior. Over time, the car will 'understand' its owner's habits, recognize their favorite workplace, school, or store, and automatically adapt to their lifestyle.”

All data between the vehicle and the user's phone is encrypted and completely secure, not shared with any third party. The vehicle also integrates an intelligent voice control system, allowing users to give voice commands to control the journey and other vehicle functions.
