On the morning of September 30, at the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee hall, the 1st Dak Lak Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, was solemnly opened.

The Congress was honored to receive congratulatory flower baskets from General Secretary To Lam; President Luong Cuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.

Comrade Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Standing member of the 14th Party Congress Document Subcommittee attended and directed the Congress. Also attending the Congress were Party Central Committee members: Pham Dai Duong, Deputy Head of the Central Strategic Policy Commission; Ngo Dong Hai, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission; Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; representatives of central ministries, branches, Military Region 5 and representatives of Gia Lai and Lam Dong provinces.

On the side of Dak Lak province, there were comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee; former leaders of different periods, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and 449 delegates representing more than 137,000 party members of 106 grassroots party organizations in the province.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, affirmed: The 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, is a political event of special importance, the first Congress after the merger of Dak Lak and Phu Yen provinces, with a new development space, new scale, stature and position, with very high task requirements in the new era of prosperous development.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung, Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee delivered the opening speech at the Congress.

Over the past 5 years, despite facing the Covid-19 pandemic, global economic fluctuations, natural disasters and many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province have strived to overcome difficulties, basically completed key tasks, and achieved important achievements . These achievements are the crystallization of the intelligence, efforts, solidarity, consensus and determination of the entire Party, people and army, demonstrating firm belief in the leadership of the Party, and at the same time being an important foundation for the strong development of the province in the next period.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province Ta Anh Tuan presented the main report at the Congress.

Presenting the main report at the Congress, comrade Ta Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, stated: In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in Dak Lak province have strived to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out by the Provincial Party Congress.

Average GRDP growth reached about 6.24%/year. Total GRDP in 5 years reached more than 9,000 billion VND, an average increase of 11.8%/year. The economic structure has shifted positively. Investment in transport infrastructure has been focused. The road transport network has been invested in quite synchronously, with smooth connections. The service, trade and tourism sectors have developed quite well...

Poverty reduction and social security policies have received attention and achieved good results. Ethnic affairs and ethnic policies have been fully and promptly implemented. National defense and security have been maintained. Party building and the political system have been strengthened.

Comrade Ta Anh Tuan affirmed: The results achieved by the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee in the 2020-2025 term have affirmed the political determination and solidarity of the political system and people of all ethnic groups, creating a solid foundation for Dak Lak province to develop rapidly and sustainably in the next period.

Speaking at the 1st Congress of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Standing member of the 14th Party Congress Document Subcommittee, on behalf of the Politburo, congratulated and commended the achievements that the Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in Dak Lak province have achieved in the past time. Comrade Nguyen Van Nen highly appreciated the seriousness, openness and frankness in assessing the remaining shortcomings and limitations of Dak Lak province as stated in the Political Report , and requested the Congress to focus on discussing thoroughly, analyzing and evaluating more clearly the causes, especially subjective causes, and drawing lessons to direct and propose remedial measures in the coming time.

Comrade Nguyen Van Nen suggested that Dak Lak province must always thoroughly grasp and creatively apply the Party's platform, guidelines, policies, resolutions, State policies and laws to local practices; closely link and synchronously implement political tasks, in which socio-economic development and environmental protection are central tasks, Party building is key, cultural development is the foundation, strengthening national defense and security, promoting foreign affairs and international integration are essential and regular.

Dak Lak needs to promote economic development in conjunction with more effective implementation of investment policies and strategies for production development and improving people's lives; prioritize adequate budget resources to solve housing and production land issues, strive to sustainably eliminate poverty for all poor households among local ethnic minorities, leaving no one behind... This is the most important factor and the basis for building and consolidating the great national unity bloc, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area...

The Executive Committee and Standing Committee of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term were introduced and received their tasks.

The Congress announced the Politburo's Decision to appoint members to the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, of which the Provincial Party Executive Committee consists of 62 comrades; the Dak Lak Provincial Party Standing Committee consists of 21 comrades.

The Politburo appointed comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung, member of the Party Central Committee, to hold the position of Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee; comrade Cao Thi Hoa An to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Ta Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades Huynh Thi Chien Hoa, Do Huu Huy and Y Giang Gry Nie Knong were appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretaries of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

The Congress also announced the decision of the Secretariat to appoint 10 members of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term I, 2025-2030, with comrade Tran Trung Hien, member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, being appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.
