Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary visits the Diocese of Da Lat

On the afternoon of September 30, the Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee visited Bishops and Priests at the Diocese of Da Lat.

The working delegation was led by comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province; accompanied by comrade Luu Van Trung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province sent his best wishes to the Bishop and Priest of the Diocese of Da Lat.

The Provincial Party Secretary gave an overview of the socio -economic development results in the first 9 months of 2025 in Lam Dong province.

Highlights include: GRDP increased by 6.8% over the same period; State budget revenue and export turnover both increased sharply; tourism welcomed over 15 million visitors, up 17% (international visitors increased by more than 33%).

National target programs on new rural construction, sustainable poverty reduction and development of ethnic minority areas have achieved many positive results...

During the visit, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee presented flowers and gifts to congratulate Bishop Dominic Nguyen Van Manh and the Diocese of Da Lat.

The Provincial Party Secretary expressed his hope that Catholics would continue to promote the guidelines of "respecting God, loving the country", "living a good life, following the religion", accompanying the province in patriotic emulation movements, actively contributing to socio-economic development, and maintaining national defense and security.

He also congratulated the Diocese of Da Lat on its honor of hosting the 16th Congress of the Vietnamese Bishops' Conference for the 2025-2028 term on October 6. This event affirms the prestige and role of the Diocese of Da Lat.

The visit demonstrates the concern and attachment of Lam Dong provincial leaders to Catholic compatriots, aiming to strengthen the great national unity bloc and build Lam Dong for sustainable development.
