On the penultimate competition day yesterday, the Vietnamese team won 6 more gold medals thanks to Trinh Thi Bich Nhu, Danh Hoa, Tien Dat-Thanh Trung-Danh Hai-Danh Hoa (relay) in swimming; Nguyen Thi Hong, Tran Ngoc Loan-Pham Thi Huong (teammates), Nguyen Thi Hong-Nguyen Thi My Linh (teammates).

Thus, before the final day of competition, the Vietnamese disabled sports delegation won a total of 66 gold medals, 56 silver medals, 77 bronze medals, ranking third overall. This achievement exceeded the top 4 target, exceeding the gold medal target (the initial target was 50-55 gold medals). Indonesia is sure to rank first overall with 153 gold medals, while Thailand is second with 123 gold medals.
