For Phu Yen chefs, ocean tuna is considered a “versatile” ingredient, because almost every part of this fish can be processed into attractive dishes. Through the talented hands of chefs, tuna is transformed into hundreds of unique dishes, from rustic to high-class, captivating diners near and far.
The 2024 culinary competition has just taken place with the theme "Ocean tuna - the essence of the sea", with 8 teams from restaurants and hotels in the province. Chef Bui Chi Hoang, Head of the Provincial Chefs Association, said that the competition brought many new and creative dishes, familiar dishes are still new because the ingredients and spices create a special and new flavor.
