Unique cross-country race

The Aikya Cross Country Marathon Tra Vinh 2025 will officially take place on April 12-13, 2025 at Pham Ngu Lao Park, Tra Vinh City.

This is the first marathon held in Tra Vinh , expected to attract nearly 3,000 athletes from amateur to professional levels. With four distances of 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, and 42 km, the event offers the chance to explore a unique cross-country running route, where serene nature blends with distinctive Khmer culture.

The race route passes through vast rice fields, winding rivers, and ancient Khmer temples, such as Ang Pagoda, over 1,000 years old, and Ao Ba Om, a stunning natural lake. This is a wonderful opportunity for athletes to both experience the sport and explore the traditional cultural beauty of the Khmer people.

Notably, the tournament coincided with the Chôl Chnăm Thmây New Year, an important festival of the Khmer people, creating a unique festive atmosphere. The event was supported by two renowned ambassadors: Thanh Vũ, the first female athlete to win the world championship in triathlon, and Minh Đức, a young man who consistently achieved high results in international running competitions.

With the message "Energy of Harmony," the tournament is not just a sporting event, but also an opportunity to spread the spirit of sportsmanship and explore the tourism potential of Tra Vinh.
