Featuring a modern Vietnamese architectural style (*), the building is the work of the renowned architect Ngo Viet Thu (1927 - 2000, winner of the Rome Prize in 1955, who designed the Independence Palace).
A special highlight of the building is the two main lecture halls, designed in a Y shape. This design is not only aesthetically unique but also optimizes space, allowing more greenery to penetrate, making the building seem nestled amidst lush trees, separated from the noise and dust of the street. The lecture halls, with their many large windows, provide ventilation, natural light, and energy savings.
