Vinicius' team welcomed 33 new players in one summer

Alverca, the team owned by striker Vinicius Junior, surprised everyone by bringing in a huge number of new players in the summer transfer window of 2025.

Many players join Alverca on loan or free. The prominent name is Sergi Gómez, a central defender who has experience playing for Celta Vigo, Sevilla and Espanyol in La Liga.

Most of Alverca's other notable recruits also come from Spain's top flight, including Nabil Touaizi (Murcian), Marezi (Almeria) and Tomás Mendes (Alaves).

In February, Vinicius bought a majority stake in Alverca, who were then playing in Portugal's second division. After three months under Vinicius's control, Alverca performed brilliantly and earned promotion to Portugal's top flight after a 21-year wait.

Speaking on his debut day at Alverca, Vinicius believes he can turn things around and help the club become a phenomenon in the national championship. The Brazilian striker also called for patience from the fans.

Vinicius's goal to redeem himself still couldn't save Real. In the early morning of April 6, Real Madrid lost 1-2 at home to Valencia in round 30 of La Liga.
