Goalkeeper Dinh Trieu: With his stability and reliability, Dinh Trieu is highly likely to be the starting goalkeeper for the Vietnamese national team in the match against Laos.

Defenders Tien Dung, Thanh Chung, and Duy Manh : The three central defenders of the Vietnamese national team are all in high form and provide excellent cover for each other. Therefore, it is understandable that all three were in the starting lineup for the match against Laos.

Midfielders Van Vi, Ngoc Tan, Hoang Duc, and Tien Anh : These are all familiar faces under coach Kim Sang Sik in previous campaigns. Van Vi and Tien Anh perform well in both defensive and attacking roles. Meanwhile, the combination of Ngoc Tan and Hoang Duc provides the midfield with both steel and creativity.

Forwards Hai Long, Tien Linh, and Ngoc Quang : In the pre-match press conference, Tien Linh confirmed he had fully recovered from his injury, so the starting spot is unlikely to slip from the Binh Duong striker's hands. In addition, Ngoc Quang and Hai Long have also played very well whenever given the opportunity, so it is highly likely that coach Kim Sang Sik will field them from the start.
