The workshop aims to create opportunities for exchanging and connecting knowledge between scientists in the field of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought. In particular, in the context of globalization and international integration, research and teaching of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought are among the key tasks of ideological and professional work at universities in Vietnam.
Attending the workshop were comrade Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh, Vice Chairwoman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Propaganda Department, Political Schools of provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region and about 110 scientists who are leading experts in the field of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought.
In his welcoming speech, Distinguished Teacher, Associate Professor, Doctor Luong Minh Cu - Party Committee Secretary, Principal of Cuu Long University said: The Organizing Committee has received 200 articles from 230 authors who are scientists; leaders, lecturers of universities and colleges; National Academy of Politics; Communist Magazine; National Academy of Politics Region 2, National Academy of Politics Region 4; Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Cadres; Political schools of provinces and cities; Political Academies, Military Academies under the Ministry of National Defense, Political Training Centers of districts and towns and agencies across the country.
This shows that the organization of the workshop has met the urgent and practical needs in innovating the teaching and learning of Marxist-Leninist sciences and Ho Chi Minh Thought at training institutions nationwide in the current situation. The Organizing Committee and the Editorial Board have divided the articles into three main topics, including: The role and vitality of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought in today's era; Innovation in teaching Marxist-Leninist sciences; Innovation in teaching Ho Chi Minh Thought.
At the conference, there were 10 direct presentations by experts in the fields of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought.
The presentation focused on the main contents to affirm the importance, scientific value and vitality of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, the research, application and development of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought in the new situation; solutions to improve the quality of the teaching staff of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought; requirements for innovation in teaching, innovation in methods, testing and assessment of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought in a modern and creative direction and solutions for applying digital technology in teaching and learning, improving the attractiveness and learning efficiency of students.
