Many emulation movements have become bright spots with widespread influence, receiving positive responses from all levels, sectors, society, and the people. During the implementation process, the locality has seen many exemplary individuals and good deeds in various fields being honored. Many cultured families have become shining examples, core elements in transmitting and preserving the traditional cultural values ​​of the nation.

A highlight in the development of cultural life at the grassroots level in An Chau commune in recent times has been the effective dissemination of information and standards for building a cultural life. Ms. Huynh Thuy Quynh, Secretary of the Dong Phu 1 Hamlet Party Branch, shared: “The hamlet leadership always pays attention to and focuses on effectively implementing activities to improve the lives of the people. The transparency of socialized funding sources and the promotion of people's role in monitoring and ensuring the quality of social welfare projects have received the people's consensus.”

Cultural and artistic activities, propaganda, and promotion are becoming increasingly vibrant, diverse, and attractive, meeting the people's needs for cultural and spiritual enjoyment. Local Party committees and authorities are paying attention to directing and organizing the implementation of civilized practices in weddings, funerals, and festivals. Festivals are organized in accordance with State regulations, ensuring economy, solemnity, and civility… contributing to raising the intellectual level and forming a cultured lifestyle in each citizen.

Having taken over the former administrative center of Chau Thanh district, An Chau commune has many advantages for developing the physical education and sports movement. The commune focuses on mobilizing social resources to build facilities, fields, and training equipment, establishing clubs and training points, expanding and diversifying mass physical education and sports activities to meet the recreational needs and create a habit of regular exercise for the people, in conjunction with the "National Movement for Physical Training Following the Example of the Great President Ho Chi Minh". Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung Em, residing in Hoa Long I hamlet, said: "The local government's investment in facilities has made physical education and sports training more convenient. I have a habit of playing pickleball with my friends after work to improve my health."

With the motto "The people know, the people discuss, the people do, the people inspect, the people supervise, and the people benefit," An Chau commune effectively implements social welfare work and cares for the poor. Every year, the locality mobilizes social resources to build, upgrade, and renovate public works such as bridges, roads, schools, and irrigation works. To date, public works have been upgraded, managed, and used effectively. Rural roads and bridges are regularly repaired, ensuring safe traffic flow and goods transportation. Schools have been repaired and upgraded to be spacious and modern, ensuring effective teaching and learning. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Oanh, residing in Hoa Phu IV hamlet, shared: "The people are happy that the appearance of the locality is changing more and more, with clear roads and better infrastructure than before. Community bonds are becoming stronger, and the material and spiritual lives of the people are gradually improving."

Ms. Huynh Thi Thanh Tuyen, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Chau commune, said that building on the achievements, the commune will continue to extensively implement the movement of national unity in building a cultured life associated with building new rural areas and other patriotic emulation movements. At the same time, it will promote socialization and effectively utilize cultural institutions. The commune will regularly organize cultural, artistic, and sports activities, contributing to meeting the needs for cultural enjoyment, health training, and creating healthy playgrounds, thereby gradually improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people, fostering a sense of community solidarity, and working together to build an increasingly developed homeland.
