Thailand and Malaysia both won in friendly matches

(Dan Tri) - Two very notable opponents of Vietnamese football in the Southeast Asian region, Thailand and Malaysia, both won last night. Thailand beat Fiji 3-0, while Malaysia beat Singapore 2-1.

The scorers for the Golden Temple team in this match were Benjamin Davies in the 11th minute, Poeiphimai in the 17th minute and Arjvirai in the 47th minute.

This victory brought the Thai team to the final match of the Kings' Cup against Iraq. In the other semi-final match, Iraq beat the Hong Kong team (China) 2-1.

Meanwhile, another noteworthy friendly match also took place last night between Malaysia and Singapore. The two teams played at Bukit Jalil Stadium, in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).

As a result, the Malaysian team won 2-1. The goalscorers for Malaysia were Stuart Wilkin in the 27th minute and Joao Figueiredo in the 54th minute. The equalizer for the Singapore team was Ilhan Fandi.
