Exhibition of OCOP products and craft villages in Me Linh commune

From October 3 to 6, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade will organize an exhibition of OCOP products, handicrafts and craft villages in the Hai Ba Trung Temple area, Me Linh commune (Hanoi). This is the opening event of a series of exhibitions aimed at developing Creative Design Centers, introducing, promoting and selling OCOP products and craft villages associated with tourism.

Exhibition of OCOP products, handicrafts and craft villages at the Creative Design Center, introducing, promoting and selling OCOP products, flower and ornamental plant craft villages, Me Linh commune with a scale of 80 booths. In addition, there is also an area to display OCOP products, handicrafts, traditional products and flower and ornamental plant craft villages...

Enterprises, production facilities of traditional products, OCOP products, artisans and skilled workers will participate in displaying, introducing and connecting trade of local traditional craft products, OCOP products, handicraft products and craft villages at the exhibition.

This is the opening exhibition for a series of 4 exhibitions of OCOP products, handicrafts and craft villages at Creative Design Centers, introducing, promoting and selling OCOP products in craft villages.

After the flower and ornamental plant festival, Me Linh commune will hold exhibitions at the Creative Design Center, introducing, promoting and selling OCOP products, Canh Nau wood craft village, Phuong Trung conical hats and Giang Cao ceramics.

Previously, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade issued a Plan to organize exhibitions to promote and connect OCOP products, handicrafts and craft villages serving tourism in 2025, develop a Creative Design Center, introduce, promote and sell OCOP products and craft villages associated with tourism in 2025.

The program aims to support businesses, rural industrial establishments, artisans... to display and introduce local traditional craft products, OCOP products, handicraft products... in the following industries: ceramics, rattan and bamboo weaving, garment..., meeting the shopping needs of domestic and foreign tourists.

The program also contributes to promoting and connecting demonstration activities, production processes, and live performances to promote local traditional crafts and products to introduce and sell OCOP products, handicrafts, and craft villages for tourism.

Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade requires that the design, arrangement of space, display, and demonstration of crafts... must ensure science , impression, and aesthetics; encourage businesses, rural industrial establishments, and artisans to have plans to decorate the display area in an open, continuous space to create impressions and attract visitors.
