From August 1, 2025, to implement the peak of ensuring security and order to serve the Party Congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Congress of Delegates, the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police has assigned forces to coordinate with the police of communes, wards, special zones and the grassroots security and order protection force to deploy many working groups to increase patrols from 9:00 p.m. the previous day to 5:00 a.m. the next day.

Through increased patrols and controls, the authorities have promptly prevented and handled many incidents as soon as they arose, preventing the formation of hot spots and complications in security and order. Lieutenant Colonel Dao Cong Hieu, Captain of Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police, said: The unit maintains 100% of its personnel on duty, closely coordinates with the police of communes, wards, and special zones, focuses on patrolling in key areas, promptly detects and effectively combats all types of crimes. In just a short time, the Team has arrested a case of illegal transportation of goods and a case of illegal possession of drugs.

To be proactive and not be surprised by any situation, the Provincial Police Party Committee also assigned comrades in the Board of Directors to directly inspect, command, and urge the implementation of plans and schemes to absolutely ensure the safety of the Provincial Party Congress. With comprehensive and synchronous solutions, the Provincial Police force has done a good job of grasping the situation, especially the situation in cyberspace. Effectively fighting and preventing all plots and activities of hostile forces and all types of crimes; promptly grasping and orienting public opinion, fighting and criticizing the distorted and erroneous arguments of hostile and reactionary forces.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Hong Nhung, an officer of Hong Gai Ward Police, said: “Hong Gai Ward Police have applied information technology in population management, while increasing interaction with people through online channels, especially Zalo groups of residential groups and neighborhoods to receive reports and denunciations of law violations on cyberspace. Thanks to that, information is received quickly and regularly, helping the police promptly deploy professional measures; at the same time, spreading green and positive information in the community.”

Along with the fierce fight against and arrest of criminals, prevention work is also always focused on by the forces. From the information provided by the people, with the responsible participation of functional forces in general and the police force in particular, the effectiveness of the fight against crime has achieved clear results: The rate of investigation and discovery of crimes against social order is over 80%, especially serious crimes reaching over 96%. In just over 1 month of peak security and order, the police of the whole province have discovered and arrested a series of law violators and fugitive criminals, preventing the formation of hot spots and complications. Of which, 109 drug crimes were discovered and handled with 201 subjects; at the same time, 5 wanted subjects were arrested and mobilized, including 3 long-term wanted subjects and 1 internationally wanted subject, contributing to the settlement of outstanding cases, improving the effectiveness of the fight against crime. Compared to the same period in 2024, violations of social order in the province decreased by nearly 30%.

With the drastic and synchronous participation of the police force and the consensus and support of the people, security and order in the province continue to be maintained and stable. The clear results in the recent peak not only affirm the core role of the police force, but also show the strength of the people's movement to protect national security. This is an important foundation for Quang Ninh to build a safe and healthy environment, effectively serving the cause of socio -economic development and the peaceful life of the people.
