Da Nang welcomes the return of Shenzhen - Da Nang flight route

DNO - On the evening of October 2, flight number CZ8155 of China Southern Airlines carrying more than 170 passengers from Shenzhen (China) landed at Da Nang airport.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang city coordinated with relevant units to organize a solemn welcome ceremony with special traditional art performances, lion dances and giving souvenirs to passengers.

According to Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism , China is one of the key international markets for Da Nang tourism, with a steady growth in the number of visitors and has been ranked second in the top international markets to the city for many consecutive years.

The return of China Southern Airlines and the opening of the Shenzhen - Da Nang route is an important milestone, contributing to strengthening trade and tourism connections between the two localities; promising growth in the Chinese tourist market to Da Nang.

Da Nang tourism industry continues to make efforts to implement tourism promotion activities and restore flights from major Chinese cities to Da Nang in the coming time.

Mr. Ho The Anh, General Director of Danang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT) excitedly said: “The return of China Southern Airlines is a signal that we have been waiting for a long time.

On the part of Da Nang International Terminal, we are committed to providing infrastructure and ground services of the highest standards, closely coordinating with the airline to ensure smooth and safe operations, contributing to creating a good starting experience for all visitors to Da Nang city."

According to plan, China Southern Airlines will operate 6 round-trip flights from Shenzhen to Da Nang, with specific flight schedules on the following days: October 2, 6, 10, 14, 18 and 22.
