Sending the martyrs' remains back home

DNO - On October 3, at Da Nang station, Railway Traffic Police Team No. 2 (Department 6, Traffic Police Department) coordinated with Nghia Binh Railway Operation Branch, Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department of the City Police), Representative Office of the Association for Supporting Families of Vietnamese Martyrs in Central Vietnam in Da Nang city, the City Military Command held a ceremony to send off the remains of martyr Nguyen Ba Ngo (born in 1954) to be buried at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Khoai Chau commune, Hung Yen province.

Martyr Nguyen Ba Ngo enlisted in December 1971 and died on February 19, 1975 at the Thuong Duc front; he was Deputy Company Commander, Battalion 8, Regiment 66, Division 304. Martyr Nguyen Ba Ngo's remains were buried at the martyrs' cemetery in Ha Nha commune, Da Nang city.

In accordance with the family's wishes and the request of the Representative Office of the Association for Supporting Families of Vietnamese Martyrs in Central Vietnam in Da Nang city, the functional units coordinated and supported the family to transport the remains of martyr Nguyen Ba Ngo by ship SE10 back to his homeland.

Previously, on July 16, at Da Nang station, the Representative Office of the Association for Supporting Families of Vietnamese Martyrs in Central Vietnam in Da Nang city coordinated with Railway Traffic Police Team No. 2 (Department 6, Traffic Police Department) and functional agencies and relatives of martyr Phan Thanh (born in 1942, hometown Kim Thanh commune, Hai Duong province) to organize a ceremony to move the remains of martyr Phan Thanh to his hometown cemetery for burial.
