
During the visit and working session, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang city discussed and exchanged with representatives of Yeongam Culture and Tourism Fund about cooperation contents such as: Vietnam - Korea Cultural Festival in Da Nang city, Vietnam - Korea art exchange exhibition, introducing artists, photographers and works imbued with local cultural identity; exchanging artist groups, performing arts, exhibition groups participating in major festivals of the two localities; coordinating the implementation of creative art exchange projects, combining young artists of the two countries.
The two sides also discussed promoting cooperation in preserving and promoting tangible and intangible cultural heritage, exchanging expertise in the field of folk arts; cooperating in researching, preserving and restoring intangible cultural heritage of the two localities; cooperating and promoting tourism through the Da Nang - Yeongam - Jeollanam tourism linkage program, focusing on cultural, ecological and community tourism; exchanging experiences and cooperating in developing green tourism, smart tourism and creative tourism...

On the basis of basic agreement on the contents of cooperation in the coming time, Yeongam Culture and Tourism Fund and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang city signed a draft memorandum of cooperation as a basis for promoting and implementing related procedures to organize the signing ceremony of the official cooperation agreement between the two sides.
The delegation also had a working session with the Yeongam District Government and the Yeongam Culture and Tourism Foundation to discuss cultural and artistic exchange activities and tourism promotion, and discuss the direction of cooperation between the two localities in the coming time. Representatives of the Yeongam District Government expressed their joy at the presence of the working delegation and highly appreciated the potential for economic - cultural - tourism cooperation between the two sides.
The delegation also attended the opening ceremony of the Yeongam Multicultural Center, a cultural and Korean language learning center for foreigners living, studying and working in Yeongam.
Currently, Yeongam is a locality with a large number of Vietnamese people living and working; the opening of this center shows the concern of Yeongam district government for foreigners, including Vietnamese people.
