Tam Ky Association in Ho Chi Minh City established 4 new liaison committees after the merger

DNO - At the Standing Committee meeting of the expanded Tam Ky Association in Ho Chi Minh City held on the afternoon of November 22, the Association agreed to establish four new compatriot liaison committees after merging communes and wards, including: Tam Ky, Quang Phu, Huong Tra and Ban Thach.

At the Tam Ky Compatriot Liaison Office (BIN Corporation building, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City), Mr. Hoang Xuan Viet, former Chairman of the People's Committee of Tam Ky city, former Quang Nam province, in the role of advisor, connected online information to the leaders of the new wards and Da Nang city about the expanded meeting of the Tam Ky Compatriot Standing Committee.

The meeting focused on evaluating the association's activities, especially after adjusting new communes and wards, while also orienting and encouraging southern compatriots to maintain strong bonds of friendship.

According to Mr. Le Hung Anh, Chairman of the Tam Ky Association in Ho Chi Minh City (term 2024 - 2027), connecting fellow countrymen in the 4 new wards after the merger will create conditions for connecting and supporting people far from home in studying, doing business and living.

The meeting agreed that the Tam Ky Ward Liaison Committee would be temporarily chaired by Mr. Huynh Van Tri, Vice Chairman Le Dinh Tuan; the Quang Phu Ward Liaison Committee would be temporarily chaired by Mr. Tran Nghieu Tai, Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Toan; the Huong Tra Ward Liaison Committee would be temporarily chaired by Mr. Le Hung Anh; the Ban Thach Ward Liaison Committee would be temporarily chaired by Mr. Huynh Duc Tuan, Vice Chairmen Phan Cong Chuyen and Ms. Ha Thuy Anh.

The official election of the Executive Committee of the four new wards is expected to be held at the congress after the 2026 Lunar New Year.
