Ninh Chu ward women give 1,700 meals and gifts to people in flooded areas

From November 21 to now, the Women's Union of Ninh Chu Ward and 2 Women's Unions of residential groups: Khanh Giang, Ninh Chu 1 organized cooking and mobilized resources to give gifts to people affected by floods in the southern communes and wards of the province.

Accordingly, the women's union members and officials cooked and donated 1,700 meals (rice, curry bread, vermicelli with fish sauce) and gifts (mineral water, cakes, rice, milk) with a total value of 33.5 million VND supported by members and donors. The gifts were given to people affected by floods in the communes and wards of Phan Rang, Ninh Hai, Ninh Phuoc... The activities have contributed to supporting people to overcome difficult times, spreading the spirit of solidarity, affection and responsibility in the community. Currently, the union is continuing to mobilize resources to support people in flooded areas, helping people to soon stabilize their lives.

In addition, the Ward Women's Union also mobilized donors to support 17.2 million VND for the funeral expenses of Mrs. Tran Thi Hoa in Khanh Tan residential group (Ninh Chu ward). Mrs. Hoa was a poor, single household and passed away due to illness.
