In recent days, floods in Suoi Dau commune have affected thousands of people, damaged 9 houses, nearly 100 hectares of crops, and damaged construction works, traffic, irrigation, electricity, water, information and telecommunications infrastructure.

In order to promptly support people to stabilize their lives, Suoi Dau commune coordinated with units such as Brigade 957 (Navy Region 4), Air Defense Division 377, Division 305, Brigade 146, Brigade 101 and local people and donors to visit, encourage and promptly support affected households. Gifts including necessities, drinking water, instant noodles, dry food and essential items were handed to the people, helping households to quickly stabilize their initial lives. At the same time, military units also coordinated with the commune militia to go to each village and each road to support people in cleaning the environment, collecting garbage and mud, and dredging and clearing canals, ditches and drainage pipes to ensure smooth flow, minimizing the risk of stagnation and disease outbreaks after floods.
