Women of Do Vinh ward join hands to support people in flooded areas

Since November 18, women's associations at all levels in Do Vinh ward have carried out support activities and mobilized donors to give gifts to households affected by floods in the ward.

Accordingly, 25 officers and women's union members of the ward participated in packaging, distributing and giving out gifts supported by the locality to the people; together with teachers of Do Vinh Kindergarten, they prepared meals for people affected by floods and soldiers participating in supporting flooded areas.

Along with that, the Women's Association of Luong Cang 1 Residential Group mobilized members to support 300 portions of seafood fried noodles, 150 loaves of bread, 1,000 packages of noodles with a total value of nearly 9 million VND. The gifts were given to people in the residential groups: Luong Cang 1, Luong Cang 2 and Nui Ngong. The Women's Association of Luong Cang 2 Residential Group mobilized women to cook more than 100 meals and 50 loaves of bread to give to flooded households living along the river in the residential group.

Currently, women's associations at all levels in the ward are continuing to carry out activities to help people overcome the consequences caused by floods.
