Mr. Tran Quoc Hung is the Chairman of the Council of fellow countrymen of Nui Thanh commune in Ho Chi Minh City.

DNO - On the evening of October 25, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Nui Thanh Commune Association held an introduction ceremony for the first term Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee of the Nui Thanh Commune Association consists of 17 members, of which Mr. Tran Quoc Hung holds the position of Chairman of the Association.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Quoc Hung said that the Nui Thanh Commune Association is not only a place to connect fellow countrymen but also a bridge to share information, support each other in life and join hands towards the development of the homeland.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Nui Thanh Commune, Van Anh Tuan, expressed his belief that the Association will become a bridge between the homeland and overseas Vietnamese, contributing to spreading the revolutionary tradition, studiousness and affection of Nui Thanh homeland.

At the ceremony, the Nui Thanh Commune Association launched a fundraising program. Thereby, it received positive responses from businessmen and fellow countrymen with an amount of more than 100 million VND.

This fund will be used for social activities, supporting difficult circumstances and returning to the homeland in the coming time.
