Lung Cu evacuated 31 households, proactively responding to storm No. 11

According to forecasts, storm No. 11 (matmo) is approaching very close to the mainland, causing heavy rain in the northern provinces, including Tuyen Quang province. Faced with the complicated developments of the storm, the Party Committee and authorities of Lung Cu commune quickly deployed to evacuate 31 households of Ma Lau A village out of the area with high risk of landslides.

Armed forces and people supported 31 households in Ma Lau A village to build temporary shelters.

Accordingly, 31 households with 169 people in the village will be supported by the armed forces stationed in the area to set up temporary shelters in safe areas to avoid the storm. Currently, the work of supporting food, drinking water and necessary necessities is also being actively deployed by the functional forces to ensure the lives of the people during the evacuation period.

Lung Cu commune authorities actively propagate to local people to closely monitor weather forecasts and proactively take preventive measures to protect the safety of themselves and their families.
