Net Zero is a state where the total greenhouse gas emissions from production and business activities are zero. The concept was first mentioned in the Fifth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the Paris Agreement in 2015. Since then, a growing number of countries, cities, corporations and investors have set goals to achieve net zero emissions. |
