Happy Mid-Autumn Festival at Hai Duong Social Protection Center
Students of Hai Duong Social Protection Center (Hai Phong city) had a meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival through the program 'Mid-Autumn Festival Connecting Love'.

On the evening of October 2, the Hai Duong Social Protection and Care Center coordinated with Vietinbank Hai Duong Industrial Park Branch to organize the program "Mid-Autumn Festival Connecting Love" for disabled children who are being cared for, raised, educated, and vocationally trained at the center. Health Department leaders give Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to students at the center. Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the biggest and most anticipated activities of the school year. On this occasion, Vietinbank Hai Duong Industrial Park branch presented 30 gifts to disabled students in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND and donated 5 computers to the center. Hai Duong Social Protection and Care Center is currently caring for 360 children with severe disabilities or more in cultural education, 11 disabled people in vocational training, 114 people with extremely severe disabilities, 26 homeless elderly people, 1 homeless person, 2 orphaned and abandoned children, and 1 person in need of urgent protection. Over the past time, the management, nurturing, cultural education, vocational training and care for the subjects have always been focused on. The Center has organized and implemented many meaningful and practical activities, helping the children to study, improve life skills and have healthy entertainment. The performance "August Lantern Procession" made an impression when it was performed by hearing and speaking disabled students using sign language. For children, joy comes not only from cakes and candies but also from the feeling of being cared for and integrated into the community.
