Early in the morning, on the small road leading to Nguyen Anh Hao Secondary School (Phu Hoa 2 Commune), Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary School (Tay Hoa Commune), the "Mobile Library Bus" of Hai Phu Library slowly rolled. On the bus, hundreds of books still smelled of paper, bringing knowledge and joy to students in the rural areas with many deprivations. When the bus door opened, stacks of books of all genres were moved to the school yard. Groups of students rushed in, their eyes eager, their hands gently touching the new books. They were engrossed in reading, then whispering to each other about the stories they had just discovered , their voices and laughter blending with the early morning sun.

Students of Tran Anh Hao Secondary School (Phu Hoa 2 Commune) enthusiastically participated in reading books in the program "Mobile Library Trip". |
Tran Thien Nhan (class 7B, Nguyen Anh Hao Secondary School) excitedly shared: “My favorite book is “100,000 Whys”. I have never seen so many beautiful and interesting books. I hope the bus will come back to my school next time.” According to Nguyen Thi Hong Ngoc (class 9A, Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary School), the “Mobile Library Bus” is like a friend who brings the whole world of knowledge to the students. Thanks to good books, Ngoc learns many new things and understands more about life.
Mr. Luong Thai Nguyen , Principal of Nguyen Anh Hao Secondary School, said that through the “Mobile Library Trip”, students have expanded their knowledge, learned how to search for information and formed reading habits. What is more valuable is that the reading spirit spreads not only among students, but also to teachers and parents, when everyone exchanges and shares books together.
In addition to reading activities, at the bus stops, librarians also introduce new literary works and organize the “Book Quiz” game, creating a lively atmosphere like a small festival. These activities contribute to fostering a love of books, developing a reading culture, arousing self-learning capacity, and aiming to build a lifelong learning society.
Not only going to secondary schools, the "Mobile Library Trip" also went to Phu Yen Center for Supporting the Development of Inclusive Education, bringing more than 420 books, including 50 Braille books, audio books for visually impaired students and 100 picture books and photos to serve the learning and life skills training for disabled students here.
According to Ms. To Thi Thu Hang, Director of Phu Yen Center for Supporting the Development of Inclusive Education, the “Mobile Library Bus” has profound community and humanistic significance. This is a practical model that helps increase access to information and knowledge for people with disabilities, creating an environment for learning, communication and connection, helping them gain more confidence and determination to succeed in life.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Deputy Head of Hai Phu Library's Professional Department, said: "During the month of the "Mobile Library Trip" program, the unit served nearly 4,000 readers, with more than 11,800 documents. This is a journey to bring knowledge closer to students and people, contributing to spreading the reading culture in the community. Each trip is an opportunity for librarians to bring the joy of reading to everyone, inspiring the spirit of lifelong learning."
