Watching the sunrise in Co To
In his essay "Co To," writer Nguyen Tuan describes a morning on the island: "The sun gradually rises, then rises completely."
Round and plump, benevolent like the yolk of a perfectly formed natural egg. The rosy, deep, and majestic egg rests on a silver platter, the diameter of which is as wide as a horizon of pearly, rosy sea water.
"It's like a tray of offerings emerging from the dawn to celebrate the longevity of all the fishermen on the South China Sea throughout eternity."
That piece of writing is imbued with the magical colors of dawn and the natural beauty of the frontier islands of our homeland.
As a travel blogger who has traveled the world , Quy Coc Tu couldn't help but feel proud and moved when he witnessed the sunrise on Co To archipelago – a place considered the country's frontier.
With profound emotion, he captured beautiful images of nature, the daily life of the islanders, and the spirit of national sovereignty displayed by the soldiers who are guarding this sea and sky day and night.
Heritage Magazine proudly presents a photo collection of the Co To archipelago by travel blogger Quy Coc Tu. Source link
