Watch the livestream of suggested solutions for the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City on Tien Phong Newspaper

TPO - In order to accompany candidates and parents in the 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City for the 2025-2026 school year, Tien Phong Newspaper organizes a series of livestreams suggesting solutions and commenting on exam questions in Literature, English and Math.

The program will be broadcast live on Tien Phong Electronic Newspaper, fanpage, YouTube and the newspaper's media platforms.

Each livestream features highly qualified teachers and special guests, including beauty queens and runners-up, providing in-depth and multi-dimensional perspectives on exam questions, effective test-taking methods, and practical advice for candidates.

Specifically, on the morning of June 6, from 9:30 to 11:30, the program will broadcast a commentary and suggested solution for the Literature subject, with the participation of:

- Mr. Tran Ly A Khuong, Teacher at Gifted High School - Ho Chi Minh City National University, Head of Literature Department at DOL Dinh LucEducation System

- Master Bui Quang Khai, Deputy Head of Literature Department, Hong Ha Secondary and High School

- Runner-up Le Nguyen Ngoc Hang, Runner-up Miss Vietnam 2022, Runner-up Miss Intercontinental 2023.

On the same afternoon, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., the program continued with suggestions for solving English exam questions, with the participation of:

- Master Do Thi Ngoc Anh, achieved 8.5 IELTS, received a master's scholarship at the University of the West of England (UK)

- Mr. Dang Quoc Hung, English teacher at Hong Ha Secondary and High School

- Miss Luong Thuy Linh, Miss World Vietnam 2019, Top 12 Miss World 2019.

The Math discussion and problem solving session will be held on the morning of June 7, from 9:30 to 11:30, with the participation of:

- Dr. Pham Thanh Tung, Head of Mathematics Department at DOL Dinh Luc

- Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Vice Principal of Hong Ha Secondary and High School, Lecturer of Mathematics and Statistics Faculty, Ton Duc Thang University.

The program not only analyzes the structure and content of the exam, gives suggested answers, but also provides scientific and effective test-taking strategies, helping candidates consolidate their knowledge and feel confident in the important exam.

Tien Phong Newspaper invites parents and students to follow to update useful information for this year's 10th grade entrance exam.

The 2025 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City will take place on June 6 and 7, with three compulsory subjects: Literature, Math and English. This year, the whole city has 76,435 candidates registered for the exam, while the total enrollment target of public high schools is 70,070 students.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has planned 142 examination sites, including 132 regular grade 10 examination sites and 10 specialized grade 10 examination sites, with a total of 3,277 examination rooms. Each examination room can accommodate a maximum of 24 candidates, ensuring a minimum distance of 1.2 meters between two students sitting next to each other in a horizontal row.

To ensure the exam takes place seriously and safely, the Department has mobilized 9,548 teachers to supervise the exam and 1,846 support staff. In addition, the inspection of facilities at the exam sites was completed on June 4, along with the implementation of security and confidentiality procedures similar to the high school graduation exam.
