Youth Union members in Tan Son district are supporting the acceleration of house construction progress in the resettlement area in Nhang hamlet, Kim Thuong commune.
The winter in the Nhàng hamlet resettlement area of Kim Thượng commune, Tân Sơn district, has become warmer thanks to the youthful energy and affection of the district's youth union members. In the vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere of the launch ceremony of the "Winter Volunteer Program 2024 - Spring Volunteer Program 2025," the youth union members diligently worked together to support and accelerate the construction of houses in the resettlement area, ensuring residents could celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year) in their new, sturdy homes. Also at the program, the Tân Sơn district youth union members presented three gifts to war invalids, respected community leaders, and impoverished households; and erected traffic safety warning signs on the main roads in Kim Thượng commune.

In Phu Ninh district, the launching point for the "Winter Volunteer Program 2024 - Spring Volunteer Program 2025" was located in An Dao commune, with activities such as awarding 11 gifts to disadvantaged students who have shown a strong desire to excel in their studies at An Dao Secondary School; organizing a scrap metal exchange program for green trees; and handing over the "Safe Traffic Gate" project to An Dao Secondary School... Immediately after the launching ceremony, all levels of the Youth Union and Associations throughout the district will simultaneously implement specific and practical programs and activities aimed at the community, contributing to ensuring social welfare.
These days, the Phu Tho Student Club at the Academy of Journalism and Communication is rushing to complete the final preparations for the "Warm Winter 2024" volunteer program. Following the success of previous years, this year, the students' volunteer journey extends to Vinh Tien commune, Tan Son district. With the theme "Giving Warmth - Weaving Love" and the motto "Ready - Proactive - Pioneering - Safe," the program aims not only to provide practical material support but also to spread love and contribute the energy of youth to community life. This is also an opportunity for students to hone their skills, gradually mature, and contribute to beautifying the nation's tradition of "mutual support and compassion."
The program will take place from January 11th to 12th, 2025, with the following main activities: Coordinating with grassroots youth organizations to organize environmental protection activities; organizing playgrounds and cultural and artistic activities for children; donating warm clothes, blankets, and essential goods to disadvantaged families and children; building youth projects such as "Community and Play Areas for Young People" and "School Libraries"; organizing "Zero-Cost Markets," giving Tet gifts, and engaging in cultural exchanges with local people...
Nguyen Minh Hanh, Head of the Organizing Committee for the "Warm Winter 2024" program, said: "We have made preliminary trips to the commune, visiting families in difficult circumstances and conducting on-site surveys at the youth project construction locations. At the same time, we are actively calling for contributions and support from organizations, individuals, units, and philanthropists... to contribute to the success and spread of the program."
The "Winter Volunteer Program 2024 - Spring Volunteer Program 2025" will be organized throughout the province from December 11, 2024 to February 22, 2025 with 5 programs: "For Our Beloved Younger Generation"; "Sharing with Farmers"; organizing social welfare activities to support and care for disadvantaged youth and children, policy beneficiary families and poor households during Tet (Lunar New Year); connecting and coordinating with volunteer organizations, clubs, teams and groups to implement the program.
The Youth Union of Thanh Thuy district inaugurated the youth project "Waste Sorting House" at Tu Vu Primary School during the launching ceremony of the "Winter Volunteer Program 2024 - Spring Volunteer Program 2025".
Accordingly, the Youth Union will coordinate with relevant agencies and organizations in the health sector to organize medical check-ups, health consultations, and free distribution of medicine to the people. They will also organize donations of warm blankets, warm clothes, food, necessities, personal items, and school supplies to support children in disadvantaged areas. Furthermore, they will mobilize social resources to participate in building, repairing, or renovating facilities such as "Boarding Houses for Children," "Beautiful Schools for Children," etc.
Organize specialized volunteer teams to disseminate information and guide people on how to protect rice, crops, livestock, and poultry from the cold; transfer advanced scientific and technical knowledge in farming and animal husbandry to the people. Implement projects such as "Lighting up rural roads," "Youth tree planting," and continue to effectively carry out "Volunteer Saturday" and "Green Sunday" activities. Organize activities such as "Spring on the border - Tet on the islands," and "Spring of love - Tet for poor patients" with activities to support and assist disadvantaged youth and children; poor households, and families receiving preferential treatment... to celebrate the traditional Tet holiday fully and warmly.
The "Winter Volunteer Program 2024 - Spring Volunteer Program 2025" promises many practical and meaningful activities aimed at the community, contributing to helping disadvantaged families and children have a warm and joyful spring; at the same time, creating an environment for youth union members to train, contribute, and grow.
