Witnessing the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Kien, Head of Ninh Thanh Hamlet, happily expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Youth Union for understanding the hardships and difficulties in transportation that the villagers have faced for so long.
These bridges bear the mark of youth.
In anticipation of the upcoming Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ca Mau Province in June 2026, the Luong The Tran Commune Youth Union, in coordination with the local government, recently held an inauguration ceremony for a series of four rural traffic bridges named Hanh Thuc 7, 8, 9, and 10 in the three hamlets of Bao Ke, Bao Beo, and Trung Thanh. Each bridge is 2.5 meters wide and 22-32 meters long, constructed of sturdy concrete, providing complete connectivity to the inter-hamlet traffic route. The total cost of over 400 million VND for this project was entirely funded by the Commune Youth Union through connections and fundraising from sponsors.

Comrade Nguyen Trung Hieu, Secretary of the Bao Ke Hamlet Party Branch, affirmed that the new bridges not only help to improve the appearance of the rural area but also serve as a leverage to contribute to fulfilling the criteria for building new rural areas in the locality.
Sharing the same sentiment, Mr. Tran Thanh Tuan (a resident of Bao Ke hamlet) emotionally expressed his appreciation for the generosity of benefactors from afar towards rural people, and hoped that the Youth Union and other organizations would continue to support and assist children from disadvantaged families so that they have better opportunities to go to school.
To ensure the long-term usability of the projects, youth union members closely monitored the construction process to guarantee quality and technical structure. In the future, the Commune Youth Union and the Commune Fatherland Front will continue to connect with and create the most favorable conditions for philanthropists to carry out more meaningful projects in the area.
Sharing her thoughts on the journey of connecting communities, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duy, Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Youth Union, said that the bridges that have been started and inaugurated recently are clear evidence of the spirit of "Where there is a need, the youth are there; where there is difficulty, the youth are there" of the province's youth. For Ca Mau, an area heavily divided by rivers, each sturdy rural bridge contributes to solving infrastructure problems, helping people travel more conveniently and ensuring students can get to school safely.
In the first few months of the year, youth union branches at all levels collaborated to build 27 rural traffic bridges, with a total cost of over 5.6 billion VND.
“Each youth-built bridge is not just a simple infrastructure project, but also a bridge of compassion and youthful enthusiasm . The journey of connecting joyful shores by the youth of Ca Mau will surely continue, contributing to the construction of many meaningful projects, affirming the pioneering role and contributing the energy of youth to the sustainable development of our homeland,” emphasized Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Duy.
