Mr. Ly Van Cua, a respected figure among the Khmer ethnic community in Khanh Binh commune, shared: “Since the implementation of the ‘Month of Listening to the People’s Voices’ model, there are no longer distant administrative meetings. Instead, officials sit down together, drink tea, and listen to even the smallest opinions of the people. Through these monthly meetings, our legitimate requests regarding plant and animal breeds, or support for production loans, are compiled by the Fatherland Front and forwarded to higher levels for resolution very quickly. When our voices are respected and transformed into concrete projects and policies right in our villages, everyone is enthusiastic and united with the government in building our homeland.”
Simultaneously, the provincial level ensures a minimum of 6 monitoring and review sessions annually, covering 100% of draft documents as required; the commune level ensures a minimum of 3 monitoring sessions and achieves a 100% review rate for draft documents within its jurisdiction. At the same time, each level proactively advises on and organizes at least one direct dialogue conference between officials, union members, and association members with the heads of local Party committees and governments, aiming to create a democratic and transparent environment at the grassroots level.
Taking care of welfare and shaping the "Digital Front"
The spirit of solidarity in Ca Mau is realized through economic resources aimed at practically caring for the lives of the people, especially vulnerable groups. The province aims to raise at least 90 billion VND annually for the "For the Poor" fund and social welfare programs; striving to ensure that 100% of poor and near-poor households in the province receive support to sustainably escape poverty during the term.
Following the success of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses , Ca Mau continues to focus on ensuring stable housing for its people. Recently, the Provincial Fatherland Front launched a fundraising campaign to build 1,000 houses for poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, the locality currently has more than 3,000 poor households and over 7,000 near-poor households that urgently need support to improve their lives. Immediately after its launch, the program received a positive response from agencies and units, with 175 houses donated, worth 14 billion VND. This solidarity promises to continue spreading, creating a strong resource to help families settle down and prosper soon.
Following the success of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, Ca Mau continues to focus on providing housing for poor and near-poor households and those in difficult circumstances, helping people settle down and make a living.
The central strategy of the Provincial Fatherland Front is to focus strongly on the grassroots level, building safe and civilized residential areas. The goal is for 100% of communes and wards to achieve the standard of "united, prosperous, and happy" residential areas , with each unit having at least one exemplary model to be replicated. Annually, the aim is for 100% of hamlets and neighborhoods to have practical community projects or models (according to the criteria of being bright, green, clean, beautiful, secure, and orderly), linked to socio-economic development and improving the lives of the people.
Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Han emphasized: Recognizing the comprehensive digital transformation trend, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has identified the application of technology as a crucial solution to innovate its operational methods and promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people. The province's action program outlines a strong digitalization roadmap with the goal of achieving 100% of Fatherland Front committees and member organizations applying information technology to management and operation annually. The province is determined to have 90% of work files processed online by the end of the term, over 80% of agencies successfully building a "paperless meeting room" model, and 100% of officials standardized in capacity, ready to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
The community digital technology team in Tan Loc commune guides residents in installing useful applications and participating in local interactive groups.
Determined to translate the resolution into reality through a scientific and practical action program, the Provincial Fatherland Front is vigorously innovating its methods of operation. From administrative work to service-oriented activities, from mass movements to practical public works projects, the Provincial Fatherland Front affirms its role as a central hub and a strong bridge between the Party, the State, and all strata of the people, enabling the entire country to confidently enter a new era.
