Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City.

On October 21st, in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, held a working meeting with Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, to discuss cooperation between Ninh Thuan and India; exchange information, introduce and request support; invite and attract Indian tourists; opportunities and potential for attracting investment from India into the province; and opportunities for cooperation and potential for exporting Halal products from the province to the Indian market.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, shared an overview of the province's socio -economic development; informed about the outstanding results in implementing cooperation agreements between Ninh Thuan and India in the past; proposed a plan for implementing cooperation agreements in the coming time, focusing on attracting and developing tourism, exporting distinctive agricultural products such as lamb, green asparagus, and aloe vera; and policies to attract Indian businesses to invest in the province's industrial zones to develop industry, processing, and manufacturing.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and other delegates held a working meeting with the Indian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India, highly appreciated the achievements of the province; its potential and advantages for tourism development and unique products. To deepen the cooperation and tourism development agreement between the two sides, in the coming time, the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City will support the province in communicating Ninh Thuan tourism to Indian tourists and introducing Indian travel businesses to connect with the province; support tourism human resource training for the province to better meet the needs of Indian tourists. At the same time, he proposed periodic exchanges and sharing of information with the province on the situation of tourism cooperation and development to leverage strengths, promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles between the two sides, and focus on attracting investment in wedding tourism. Regarding investment attraction and trade promotion, the Indian Consulate is ready to support connecting Indian businesses with provincial departments, agencies, and businesses through online or in-person meetings to facilitate cooperation agreements, explore the investment environment, and develop markets. On this occasion, Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi respectfully extended an invitation to the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and provincial departments, agencies, and businesses to visit and work with Indian localities and businesses.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed gratitude and acknowledged Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi's invitation for Ninh Thuan to send a delegation to visit India. He emphasized that immediately after this meeting, the Provincial People's Committee would develop a specific program and plan to effectively implement the cooperation agreement between the two sides. Looking ahead, the Vice Chairman hoped that the Indian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City would continue to pay attention to and support the province in effectively implementing the cooperation plan agreed upon by both sides; provide media support to help Indian businesses and investors understand Ninh Thuan, especially its potential, advantages, and investment projects; and connect Indian businesses and corporations to research, explore, and invest in Ninh Thuan for stable and sustainable development.
