Immediately, the Vietnam People's Army dispatched a team of six engineers to coordinate with Turkish and Myanmar rescue forces to rescue the victim. When the rescue team reached the victim's location, he was still able to speak and said he was fine, only lacking food and water. Currently, the rescue team is searching for the nearest route to reach and rescue the trapped victim.
Major General Pham Van Ty, Deputy Director of the Search and Rescue Department, General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), and Head of the VPA delegation participating in earthquake relief efforts in Myanmar, said: "Immediately this morning, the delegation deployed three teams to search for and rescue victims."

According to Major General Pham Van Ty, the local rescue forces and residents greatly appreciate the search results of the Vietnam People's Army. Residents said that for nearly a week, they had been waiting outside the hospital hoping to find their loved ones.
On the morning of April 2nd, rescue forces of the Vietnam People's Army continued their search for victims trapped in the Ottara Thiri private hospital in Naypyidaw, Myanmar.
Previously, the rescue forces of the Vietnam People's Army were provided with detailed maps of the hospital and suspected locations where victims might be trapped by doctors; they were also informed that there were likely 14 to 20 victims inside the hospital (including one body that was found and brought out by the Vietnam People's Army rescue forces on April 1st).
