Hailstorm occurs in Dong Nai.

On the afternoon of May 25th, some areas of Dong Nai City experienced a light hailstorm, providing relief from the sweltering heat.

On the evening of May 25th, Mr. Le Ngoc Tien, Chairman of the People's Committee of Trang Bom Ward, Dong Nai City, confirmed that a small hailstorm had occurred in the area.

Accordingly, the rain occurred at just after 5 PM and stopped about 30 minutes later. Initially, the local authorities have not recorded any damage to property or crops.

Hail also occurred in Trang Dai ward and was filmed by residents and shared on social media. The hailstones were the size of corn kernels, and this was the first hailstorm recorded in Dong Nai City since the beginning of the year.

According to meteorological experts, hailstorms in Dong Nai usually occur during transitional periods, mainly from April to May or from August to October, when there is a transition between the dry and rainy seasons, easily leading to localized extreme weather phenomena.
