Cake by VPBank said that when depositing from 100,000 VND or more for a term of 6 months, customers will receive an additional interest rate of 0.6%. In addition to the high interest rate, customers also have the opportunity to receive additional gifts, tickets to music shows, Tet shopping vouchers, and a bonus of up to 100 million VND for the highest value deposit during the program period...

Latest interest rates at Cake by VPBank

Eximbank is the next bank to join the list of interest rate increases in December, along with previous banks such as ABBANK, GPBank, Techcombank , VPBank, TPBank, IVB. In the latest interest rate table, Eximbank adjusted to increase the interest rate for over-the-counter savings deposits in many terms, the highest being about 0.4 percentage points compared to the previous month.

When customers deposit for a term of 1-5 months, the highest interest rate is 3.5%/year; if depositing for 6 months, the interest rate is up to 5.2%/year. When depositing at the counter, the highest interest rate applied by Eximbank is 5.8%/year for a term of 18 months.

According to the reporter's records, some other banks also launched many promotional programs, incentives, giving away airline tickets, cash, savings books... to stimulate customers to save.

Sacombank said that from now until the end of 2024, it will launch a program to celebrate its 33rd birthday with a total prize value of more than 33 billion VND. The bank will give away nearly 6,000 Bamboo Airways business class tickets and thousands of valuable shopping vouchers to qualified individual and corporate VIP customers.

Savings interest rates continue to increase at many banks

For individual customers, when coming to transact at branches/transaction offices, they will receive direct gifts; spending with Sacombank credit cards on e-commerce platforms, booking motorbikes/cars on Xanh SM application will receive discounts. 330 customers who deposit savings online on Sacombank Pay with the highest balance (from 1 billion VND) will receive a refund of 330,000 VND...

Currently, the highest deposit interest rate at Sacombank is 5.7%/year for a term of 24 months.

At HDBank, the year-end savings promotion program is also being implemented. Customers only need to deposit savings for 1 month with an amount of 10 million VND.

Accordingly, customers who deposit savings at the counter and online on the HDBank app and meet the conditions on term and minimum deposit amount will immediately receive a lucky draw code for the lucky draw. The prizes include: 1 savings book worth 300 million VND; 5 savings books worth 50 million VND and 10 savings books worth 10 million VND...

The highest savings interest rate at HDBank is 6%/year for 18-month term when customers deposit at the counter.
