Kinhtedothi - At around 12:00 on January 29, flight number U5 2297 of SkyUp Airlines with 531 passengers departing from Warsaw International Airport (Poland) arrived at Cam Ranh International Airport.
On January 29 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism in coordination with Cam Ranh International Airport and Anex Vietnam Trading and Tourism Company Limited organized to welcome the first flight from Poland to Khanh Hoa.
Flight U5 2297 of SkyUp Airlines with 531 passengers departed from Warsaw International Airport (Poland) at 6:00 p.m. on January 28 (local time) and arrived at Cam Ranh International Airport at 12:00 p.m. on January 29.
Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Thieu, along with leaders of the Department of Tourism, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association and other departments and branches, went to the plane's stairs to welcome the Polish delegation to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.
The first 20 guests arriving at Cam Ranh International Airport were presented with flowers, gifts and lucky money envelopes by provincial leaders and delegates. The remaining guests were presented with gifts at the reception area of International Terminal T2 - Cam Ranh International Airport.
According to Anex Vietnam Trading and Tourism Company Limited, the Polish tourist group coming to Khanh Hoa will stay for 10 days at 4-5 star resorts and hotels in Bai Dai and Nha Trang City. During their stay in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, the tourists will take a tour to visit Nha Trang City, visit Nha Trang Bay, sail on a Catamaran, and have fun at VinWonders Nha Trang...
Anex Vietnam also said that the unit will exploit the Polish tourist market with a frequency of 3 flights/month; each flight carries over 500 passengers.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism said that Polish tourists coming to Nha Trang and Khanh Hoa on the first day of the Lunar New Year is an opportunity for Khanh Hoa tourism to promote tourism to Polish tourists in particular and European tourists in general. Khanh Hoa tourism industry hopes that in the near future there will be more tourist markets in Europe.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh added that in 2025, Khanh Hoa tourism industry aims to welcome 11.8 million visitors, including 5.2 million international visitors, with tourism revenue of 60,000 billion VND.
In the coming time, Khanh Hoa tourism industry will continue to strongly implement communication activities, promote advertising, stimulate demand to attract tourists with appropriate forms and themes, focusing on improving continuity, diversity, professionalism and efficiency, applying 4.0 technologies according to world trends, strengthening communication to affirm Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa as a safe, quality, attractive and friendly destination for domestic and international tourists.
“The domestic tourist market is still identified as the key market for Khanh Hoa tourism industry in 2025 and gradually expanding to international tourist markets with a large number of visitors to Khanh Hoa in recent years and a lot of potential such as Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Korea, Malaysia, India, Japan, Australia, Thailand...” - Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism informed.
