According to the assessment of Duc Trong District People's Committee, with the efforts of departments, offices, units and localities, in the first 3 months of 2025, the agricultural production progress ensured the season; the livestock and crop situation was stable, basically ensuring safety against epidemics; the cultural - social, educational and health sectors performed relatively well; tourism improved, business activities showed signs of recovery and increase; traffic accidents decreased in all 3 criteria, military service reached 100% of the assigned target.
Along with that, the specialized agencies under the District People's Committee, the reorganized and merged units have quickly stabilized the new organizational structure, stabilized personnel work, innovated the way of organizing work to ensure immediate operation, without interruption, affecting the work of consulting, directing and implementing tasks, especially administrative procedures related to people and businesses.... However, besides the achieved results, the Duc Trong District People's Committee has pointed out a number of shortcomings and limitations such as: the results of implementing the construction of advanced and model new rural communes in 2024 and the progress of approving the production and consumption chain have not been completed; compensation, support and site clearance for some projects are still slow; the progress of implementing some planning tasks and investment attraction projects is still slow, budget collection has not reached the assigned plan; illegal exploitation of minerals, leveling and renovating the site still occurs...
On the basis of closely following the Government's motto of "Discipline, responsibility; proactive, timely; streamlined, effective; accelerated breakthrough" and the Provincial Party Committee's motto of leadership, direction and administration in 2025: "Quick; dynamic; innovative, breakthrough; accelerated, developed" to focus on implementing tasks and solutions for socio -economic development in 2025, contributing to the province's double-digit economic growth, at the meeting to assess the socio-economic development situation in the first 3 months of 2025 held recently, comrade Le Nguyen Hoang - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee, directed the agencies and units under the district, the People's Committees of communes and towns to thoroughly grasp and do well the ideological work, properly and fully implement the regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers who are redundant due to the arrangement and merger of the organizational apparatus in accordance with regulations. Continue to improve working spirit and attitude, be serious, effective, without interruption, without missing functions and tasks...
On the other hand, focus on agricultural production, strengthen the work of preventing and fighting diseases on crops and livestock; promptly grasp and have solutions to prevent and fight diseases that do not spin cocoons on silkworms; organize inspections and have plans to clear and dredge ponds and lakes, clear water flows, implement drought solutions, ensure enough water for agricultural production and people's lives. Focus on building OCOP products, building advanced and exemplary new rural communes. Strictly implement forest management and protection; arrange patrol forces, promptly detect and handle violations from the moment they arise, not allowing complicated violations to occur in the area. Seriously and synchronously implement forest fire prevention and fighting measures, especially during the peak months of the dry season. Speed up the progress of preparing records and procedures for afforestation, scattered tree planting, and afforestation on cleared land in accordance with regulations.
In addition, speed up the progress of preparing documents and procedures for auctioning land use rights according to the plan. Strengthen the management of planning and construction order; handle cases of illegal construction, encroachment on road safety corridors, and power grid safety. Maintain regular deployments, ensure business order, and clear cases of business encroachment on market yards, roadsides, and sidewalks. Strengthen the management of land, resources, and minerals; promptly detect, prevent, and strictly handle violations according to regulations, especially in Loan communes.
Resolutely, seriously and synchronously implement solutions for disbursing public investment capital in 2025, focusing on completing the disbursement of 100% of capital for projects from the new rural capital source by June 30, 2025. Speed up the progress of implementing key projects and works in the district according to the direction at thematic meetings. Focus on resolving problems related to site clearance, especially for key projects and works: Ta Hoet Lake Project and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway; exploiting land fund for residential areas and Phi Nom market, the Administrative Center area of the district square... In April 2025, the site of the QL28B project must be handed over...
