This summer, as I finished my first year of university, I knew I had matured. The first opportunity that helped me overcome my own limitations was becoming class president in my new environment. I proactively communicated with my classmates and enthusiastically volunteered to contribute to various activities. Thanks to this, I became more active and made many new friends. Studying at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport was very interesting. What excited me was that besides the main courses, there were workshops and talk shows with many reputable experts, allowing students to enhance their knowledge and acquire soft skills. It was even more gratifying that we students got to actively participate in the programs, rather than simply listening to speakers. Our major is logistics and supply chain management, and none of us had experience organizing events. Being assigned the role of group leader for a program themed "Open Your Heart," I felt quite a bit of pressure. However, the trust of my friends and the expectations of my professors gave me strength. I asked myself, "How will I know my capabilities if I don't try?" and resolved to succeed. I remembered my teachers' advice: young people should constantly learn and not be afraid of setbacks.

The planning phase, preparing facilities, and implementing communication for the program were, for me, meaningful extracurricular learning sessions. The workshop went smoothly and received positive feedback from teachers and participants. We broadened our perspectives and learned methods for effective communication and teamwork, and how to identify and manage our emotions. We were no longer impulsive children; instead, we learned to be calm and confident in expressing ourselves. The moment of completing this first "important task" of my student life, bringing the workshop to a successful close, was truly memorable. I gained more inspiration to try my hand at many fields in the following years of study, to become more mature before entering the highly competitive job market.
